I have an exhibit at Western Kentucky University that is in its last year of a three year stint. It is a retrospective that goes back 15 years and is sponsored by U.S. Bank and is online. It can be reached by searching: Bill Sanders cartoonist----and scroll down to: "U.S. Bank Bill "Whitey" Sanders Comic Opera. When you open the exhibit you will see a biography and a top line that will have headings like "Opinion, National, Features" etc. Click on a heading to open up the cartoons in that section. Under each cartoon is the word "more". Click on it and you will get a couple of paragraphs of well researched background on what was going on at the time.
