For anyone who might be interested, I am going to start a tweet series under the tweet “History through political cartoons—for political junkies.” Each tweet will contain a cartoon about an event or issue that was in the national conversation somewhere in the time frame from 1959 to today. They will not necessarily be in chronological order. I am curious to see if there is of any interest in the project. I think you might find some truth in the old adage “The more things change----the more they stay the same!”
